Jiang Taigong who lived in the East China Sea styled Zi Ya, also known as Jiang Shang. He was not only the founder of the Western Zhou Dynasty but the creator of Qi and the culture of Qi. What’s more, he was a famous strategist, militarist and politician, honored as “Zhou Shiqizu” and “Bai Jiazongshi”. In the ancient China, he occupied an important position.

There used to be a clear flowing river in the gully of stones. It was said that Jiang Taigong went fishing there after returning home to be away from King Zhou of Shang. The former statues were all destroyed in the war. Fortunately, the committee of Cherry Valley Scenic Area rebuilt the spot in 2017. Now there is a clear lake, weeping willows and blooming lotus in the distance. It’s a good place for people to relax.
