The Grandmother Temple is located in Cherry Valley Management Committee’s domestic institution. It lies in the southeast of 500 meters to the Dai Jia Men village. If you want to have an interesting sight, you can walk along the river named Langer Goddness which is the upstream of Jia Lu River to the west, and you’ll find it in the second step besides the river. Actually, the temple is a site, is named for building in the northwest of the site called Large Godness by the folk saying.

The site was found in the winter of 2005.From April to August in 2011, the monument was excavate by WenBo college which major in archaeological in Beijing University and research institute which major in archaeological of Zhengzhou. In this explosion, the group have more than 3000 stoneware,12000 ancient animal bone fragment, 20 saite which have the trace of the fire, and the continuous distribution of ancient human living in the ruin of 50 square meter. The new discovery has showed many activity details in centre living camp that time, which connect more than 300 site that found in the east of mountain Song in Paleolithic Age. And the discovery not only reappears Pleistocene human living form systematically in Zhengzhou, but also has found many historical remains which is close with human activities, which is very important to help to major in the subject of the development of modern human being in our country and even in the east of Asia.

The mian discovery of site of Grandmother Temple is formed by the centre of ash accumulation, many stoneware and animal fossil remains. The archaeological excavation has gotten the honour “The national top ten archaeological discoveries” ,because it has canceled the idea that Chinese is originate by African and provided many important materials for helping to major in the subject of the development of modern human being in our country and even in the east of Asia.
